WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Comprehensive Long-Range Precision Rifle Training
Long-Range Precision Rifle Training is a comprehensive series of instruction designed to guide you through the craft of long-range precision shooting. From classroom fundamentals to practical range experience, Rock helps you develop the knowledge, understanding, and skills to put what you learn into practice.
01 — Build a Strong Foundation
Begin with the essential fundamentals of precision marksmanship, including natural point of aim, sight picture, breathing, trigger control, and recoil management. Classroom instruction is followed by practical live-fire training.
02 — Understand Your Rifle, Scope, and Equipment
Explore rifle setup, caliber selection, ballistics, scope adjustments, and the role of supporting equipment. Learn about the tools used throughout long-range precision training and have the opportunity to ask questions along the way.
03 — Gather and Verify Your Ballistic Data
Learn how rifle and ballistic data are gathered and used during training. The program covers establishing a 100-yard zero, recording muzzle velocity, understanding scope correction factors, and using a ballistic solver. Range verification may extend from 400 to 1,250 yards, depending on your rifle's capabilities.
04 — Develop Your Wind-Reading Skills
Understand how wind and environmental conditions influence long-range shooting. Training covers wind and mirage observation, informed wind calls, and developing consistency at different distances.
05 — Practice Different Shooting Positions
Explore positional shooting from the prone position, tripods, barricades, and the 50-foot tower. Learn how stable positioning and effective use of your equipment contribute to precision marksmanship.
Train with a Clear Goal
